My Shape, Your Personalized shop!

My Shape does have fashions for plus size women, in case you wondered. Why set up a Free Person Shop at My Shape? Why shop for plus size women's clothing at My Shape? This is what I found out about why you might want to set up a free Personal Shop at My Shape:

1. Taking the guess work out of FIT. Have you ever loved a style of apparel, ordered it, then found, when it arrived, that one aspect of it in no way fit? I had with the lovely and buttery soft Notched Collar Jacket by Silhouettes. The armholes were way to big!

This won't happen if you take My Shape's suggestions after you set up your personal shop. Even when you select a style out of their massive collections. If you select a style that won't fit you in some way, they post a little note next to the item telling you that!

The only possible down side of the above is, out side of the designers and stores they recommend for me, I do not know, or perhaps have not found out yet, all of the brands and designers they do carry. They do not recommend Silhouettes for Me, I do not know about you, or if they carry them. They do have plenty of others to choose from.

2. Easy Match Wardrobe Somewhere after setting up my personal profile, I found a option for women who need to put together a wardrobe in which all of the pieces will compliment each other. For the life of me I can not find it now, but I will call them in the coming week and get more info about how I stumbled on it. It was great. If I had to put together a cost effective way to dress well in my current size, I have been shaping up in recent months. I could use that info! Anyway, I will up date this after I talk with them next week.

3. They lavish you with Discounts! Since I made my Personal Shop, on 12/14, I have received discount offers of 30%, 40%, 50% off as well as extra 20% off at their sales. How do you set up a Personal Shop.

What you need is a tape measure, a close friend to measure you, while you wear close fitting clothes, a bathing suit perhaps. Alternatively, if you have a sewing dress form set up exactly like you in size and height.

First you tell My Shape's personal shop your style and dressing preferences, your brands and designer preferences, then fabrics and fibers preferences. This is after all, all about you.

Then you, with the help of a close friend, take careful measurements of your body. If you have a dress form, for sewing, that perfectly duplicates your body, you can take your measurements on that.

The measurement part is nearly impossible to do well, I know, I tried, by yourself.

The you tell them what tops and bottom sizes, and size ranges for each, petite, average or tall you normally wear.

You then tell them whether you want to go sizeless or not. If you want to know what sizes they pick for you, you can then decide if you want to buy their suggested styles from them, or on your own.

When creating your personal shop they also ask you what age you like to dress and what dress lengths are to your liking, as well as how décolleté you like to dress as well.

Additionally, My Shape has a Plus Size and Petite shop. They can tell you, once you set up your personal shop, what you must have, what trends you should try, give you tips for your shape and style.
